Denim Flowers for Decor
Unfortunately, the lifespan of our favorite jeans is short, and when they wear out, we have to decide: use them for crafts or throw them away? We crafters never throw anything out, so today we'll be making flowers for decor from small scraps. You won't believe how simple it is and what a stunning result you get!
## Flower from denim shirt cuffs

Cut from the sleeve, make small pleats, and secure in the center with a metal button.
## Denim carnation

To make this, you will need special pinking shears, which create a decorative edge. Cut out 4 circles, fold each one in half and then into quarters. The center is a button.
## Violet

Cut out slightly irregular circles of different sizes and hand-stitch around the edges. Use not only denim but also colorful fabric scraps. A small flat button is sewn on as the center.
And finally, what can you do with these wonderful little flowers? You can decorate throw pillows, sew them onto curtain or napkin rings, or create interesting accessories: necklaces, bracelets, brooches, or hair ties.
