They say that in sewing, people fall into three categories: those who love designing, those who love drafting patterns and cutting, and those who love sewing 🤔

Apparently, there's something wrong with me 😲 No, I'm not one of those who loves it all, my preferences just constantly change. And it's unclear what it depends on—perhaps it's the moon, solar flares, Mercury in retrograde, or just feminine whims 😂

It's a pity you can't guess when and on which project the fairy of a certain task will visit 🙈

In garment manufacturing, however, different people are indeed responsible for each stage. So to speak, everyone finds work according to their calling and the phase of the moon 😉

Which stage of the work do you like the most? Do you have favorite moments, or does it also depend on whims and mood?

Видимо со мной что-то не так 😲 Нет, я не из тех, кто любит всё, просто мои предпочтения постоянно меняются. И это непонятно от чего зависит, видимо, влияет луна, вспышки на солнце, ретроградный Меркурий или просто женская капризность 😂⠀

Жаль, нельзя угадать в какое время и на каком изделии фея какой работы посетит 🙈⠀

А вот на производстве одежды за каждый этап действительно отвечают разные люди. Так сказать, каждый находит себе работу по призванию и фазе луны 😉⠀

А какой этап работы больше нравится вам? Есть любимые моменты или тоже зависит от капризов и настроения?⠀

Drawings and pattern drafting are always a huge challenge, a real battle) Lately, I've been wanting something monotonous, for example, just basting parts, stitching straight seams. But in general, I lean more towards the fact that simple sewing or clothing repair is closest to me. Drafting patterns with non-standard parameters has been making my eye twitch lately. Maybe it's age?:unsure::p

For me, on the contrary, I prefer making drawings. It's also a kind of creativity, I would even say art for techies. I might seem strange to some, but for me, drafting is beautiful. :)
Despite the fact that non-standard figures are almost always more difficult, I always improve myself precisely on them. By the way, my clients are almost all with one "non-standard" feature or another - arm length, shoulder width, large difference between waist and hips... And, I'm sure, you know how a woman's eyes light up when a garment fits her like a glove! :love:

I prefer sewing, the process itself. And I like drafting patterns the least, especially for non-standard figures with large variations. I have to get creative because I always worry about the result of my work. Coming up with new models isn't really my thing, but sometimes a client comes with a photo of a model and says: "I want this dress!". And you realize that the figure is different and the fabric won't drape that way. It's awkward to try to talk them out of it. You immediately imagine how you'll have to modify the pattern to get a beautiful silhouette...
With sewing, everything is simple - my hands are used to it, my eye is trained, just sit and stitch. I love working while watching a series - killing two birds with one stone, so to speak. The main thing is to listen, not watch))
