School Bouquet – Perfect for a Spring Fair

Dedicated to spring crafts for school! 😍 I highly recommend making this little bouquet – it's quick, easy, and made from accessible materials. What's more, I'm sure not everyone will guess right away what it's made of 😉

So, take regular roll foil, measure out 14-15 cm, and cut it off. Roll this piece into a tight ball. It will be about 2 cm in diameter.

Now we need supply #1 – cotton swabs, or rather their padded tips. Snip them off and place them in a box.

Now arm yourself with a glue gun: use it to glue the cotton pieces onto the foil ball. Place them close together to leave as few gaps as possible.

You end up with a cute little “hedgehog” like this (leave one “pixel” uncovered at the bottom to attach the stem). In total, we will need 7 of these balls.

Now take a long wooden skewer and wrap it with a strip of crepe paper, securing everything with glue.

Mount the ball onto the skewer – right where we left the space free of a cotton tip.

You now have a nearly finished bouquet of seven stems with lush flower heads that could, however, use a splash of color.

To do this, pour acrylic paint into a container – there should be enough so that the flower head fits into it freely.
Carefully dip each stem into the paint, then take it out, let any excess paint drip off, and leave the flowers to dry on foil – it will not absorb the paint.

Once dry, the flower buds retain their rich berry color!

All that's left is to cut out and glue crepe paper leaves onto the stems – and you can assemble a bright spring bouquet 🥰
