How to knit a scarf for a girl
Both ends of the scarf are shaped like points, so we start knitting from the narrow part, gradually widening it to the needed size.
Row 2. Work in pattern with increases. Work an extra stitch out of the first and last knit stitch. Row 3 and all following odd rows. Purl over the knit stitches and knit over the purl stitches.
Work increases on every even row until there are 35 stitches on the needles.
Knit the straight section up to the bow's height
Next, knit the straight part of the scarf without increases, keeping the pattern. At a height of 70 cm from the start of the knitting, begin working the bow.

Divide the stitches into three sections
Divide all the stitches on the needle into 3 sections: 12, 11, 12 stitches, and place markers.
Knit the side sections of the bow
Using the strand from the main ball, knit exactly 4 cm, then leave the stitches on a spare needle. With a new ball, continue knitting the same pattern for 4 cm on the third section of the scarf.
Knit the middle section of the bow
On the middle section, knit the bow as follows:
Row 1. Cast on 20 stitches onto the needle, knit the 11 middle stitches in knit stitch, then cast on another 20 stitches. Row 2 and all even rows. Purl all stitches. Row 3. Knit the 20 cast-on stitches plus 1 knit stitch from the middle section. Turn the work. Row 5. 20 stitches plus 2 from the middle section.
Repeat this 3 more times (rows 7-11). Row 13. Knit all (51) stitches on the needle. On the purl row, purl only 20 stitches, then turn the work.
Repeat the next 5 rows as with the right half of the bow, but work the extra stitches from the middle section on the purl rows.
Finish the insert and bind off the stitches
After that, knit straight up to an insert height of 4 cm. Bind off the first and last 20 stitches, leaving the middle 11 on the needle.
Join the stitches and finish the main section
Transfer all the stitches, 12+11+12, onto one needle and knit straight with the main yarn for another 15 cm. Then work decreases in the same order as the increases were made: 2 together before and after the edge stitches in every knit row.
Shape and sew on the bow
Form the bow. Fold the side sections inward and sew them ONLY to the front part of the slot.
Bind off the stitches and try it on
Bind off the last 5 stitches, weave in the ends on both sides, and try it on. To do this, thread one of the ends through the slot under the bow and pull it snug.
