How to Crochet a Unique Heart-Shaped Bookmark

A gift for Valentine's Day or just because can be made in just a few hours. **I suggest crocheting a cute heart-shaped corner bookmark.

Step 3

To make this bookmark, we will use:**
• No. 10 sewing thread;
• No. 2 crochet hook;
• PVA glue;
• a small piece of a plastic folder cover.

Count 6 stitches and work dc. Ch 2 + skip 2 sts, dc into the third st, and repeat this pattern.
Ch 5 + 1 dc, just like the previous section, and repeat this pattern 2 more times. As a result, the last dc will fall into the last stitch. Ch 5 and join the round with a slip stitch.

Ch 3 + 3 dc (2 into the chain space, the third into the stitch)
in the other lobe, 4 dc (at the edges into the stitches, in the middle into the chain space).

Into the chain that forms a semicircle, work 10 dc + 9 dc into each st + ch 3 + 9 dc. In the second semicircle, work 10 dc and join the round with a slip stitch.

Dilute PVA glue half-and-half with water and thoroughly saturate the bookmark with it. Slip our piece onto the corner of a plastic folder and leave it to dry.
