Even though the selection is large, finding suitable stones with vintage-style images is not always possible. That's why I want to offer you a simple way to make such cabochons yourself, with your own hands, without much expense.

You will need: plaster, water, several plastic spoons, and sandpaper. You will also need decoupage supplies: napkins, PVA glue, acrylic paints, and varnish.
To start, mix the plaster with water in a container until it reaches the consistency of thin sour cream or liquid acrylic (approximate proportions are 1 to 1). Carefully pour this mixture into the plastic spoons and let it dry. Once the blanks are dry, remove all irregularities with sandpaper. It is best to use multiple sandpapers—coarse-grit to remove bumps, and fine-grit to make the blank smooth. Coat the blanks with a thick layer of PVA glue and let them dry. Besides spoons, you can use any objects suitable in size and shape.

Now take napkins with a small pattern repeat that you like and that fit the image size. Carefully separate the picture from the napkin; it is better not to cut it out with scissors, but to gently tear it out and adhere it to the blank using PVA glue and a napkin. Let it dry.

Finally, go over the edge of the glued napkin with fine-grit sandpaper to smooth out the seam. On a palette, dilute acrylic paint with water to a watercolor consistency and tint the blank. For example, you can add shading around the edges, paint the plaster completely, or highlight individual elements of the design. You can also paint flowers or patterns on the plaster blank yourself. If you know how to draw. Coat the blank with clear varnish on top. As a last resort, you can even use clear nail polish.
