Many people are probably familiar with the technique of making flowers from satin ribbon, but I doubt many have tried creating airy floral arrangements from organza. I think that's unfair, so today I'll show you how to make an organza flower yourself—specifically, a violet.

To get started, you will need: a small roll of organza ribbon (about 4–5 cm wide);

a needle;

clear "Crystal" glue or a glue gun;

a candle;

decorative stamens (available at craft stores, or you can substitute bead embroidery or seed beads strung on thin wire).

First, singe the edges of the ribbon over a candle to prevent the threads from fraying. Next, fold the corner of the ribbon at an angle, as shown in the photo, and baste along the edge with running stitches to secure the corner, then continue for another 5 cm.
