A Creative Way to Decorate a Gift

There are plenty of ways to beautifully decorate a gift. But I want to share a lovely way to decorate a gift that will truly be memorable. How about decorating gifts with miniature bouquets?

I'll show you using a notebook as an example. You will need kraft paper, twine or ribbon, decorative cardstock, and a small plastic bag.

Wrap the notebook in kraft paper. Fold a triangular envelope from decorative cardstock and glue it to the kraft paper. Insert a triangular piece of any plastic bag inside. This keeps water from the flowers from soaking the wrapping.

You can use any small flowers you like, either store-bought or wildflowers. Assemble a small bouquet; you can accent it with foliage or other greenery.

Take regular paper napkins, dampen them with water, and wrap them around the cut stems of the flowers. Insert the bouquet into the envelope and tie it with a ribbon. It's best to insert the bouquet right before giving the gift. That is, make the bouquet and keep it in the refrigerator.
