How to increase your knitting speed
For those who love knitting and have been practicing this craft for years, the question of increasing speed is both simple and complex at the same time.
The fact is that every crafter knows exactly which incentives work for them and which are completely indifferent.
But for beginner knitters, this question often has no answer. Therefore, I suggest that the "veterans" of the knitting world share their effective motivational arguments and methods for speeding up the process.
## I'll start:
- I knit everywhere, and it doesn't bother me at all – on the commuter train, during lunch breaks, at the beach; when I was younger, I even knitted during professional development lectures;
- I try to knit two items in parallel – not unfinished projects! It's just that if one of them is at the finishing stage and is bulky, you can't take such a thing with you on the train. But a small piece you've just started is easy;
- planning is a big deal! I set daily goals for myself and try to meet them. For example, today I have to knit up to the start of the pattern, etc.;
- I organize intermediate rewards for myself – if I finish the sleeve today, I get a chocolate bar;
- if I sit down to knit, I don't put my phone nearby so I'm not tempted to check it;
- before starting work, I try to take care of all short-term chores like cooking, washing dishes, etc., so that nothing interrupts the process.
What are your secrets?

I have a different problem: how to stop once I've started knitting! I get so carried away that I abandon other chores, so I have to take my knitting out of sight into another room. If only my boss at work would say, 'God be with you, just knit!' :)
